Teaching and Dancing Tango Professionally since 1993...
 Pablo Repun was born and raised in Buenos Aires- the city
where the exciting and passionate dance of Argentine Tango first came alive.
During his extensive tango training in Buenos Aires , Pablo studied with the top professional "Masters" of Argentine
Tango: Carlos Hidalgo, Celia Blanco, Ernesto Carmona, Gustavo Naveira, Esteban Moreno, Pepito Avellaneda, Natalia Games & Gabriel Angio, Fabian Salas, Mingo Pugliese & Roberto Herrera. In addition to his training in tango, Pablo studied Graham Contemporary Dance and Parallelism Dance Technique at The National School of Dance in Buenos Aires .
In Buenos Aires, Pablo taught group classes, private lessons and workshops at local milongas, cultural centers, universities and also historical places like Café Tortoni and Café Homero Manzi.
He has taken his knowledge and experience both as a teacher and performer to different parts of the world such as Brazil, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Panama, Germany and throughout the USA including Alaska where he received a special invitation from the Mayor of Juneau . He has performed on TV numerous times in Brazil, Costa Rica and the USA and traveled with Quintango quintet performing around the USA, appearing on the cover of their last CD, which won a Grammy in its field. He was presented in such places like Black Rock Center for the Performing Arts Germantown, Maryland; Ames City Auditorium Town & Gown Chamber Music Association,Ames, Iowa; Madison Theater, Covington, Kentucky; Thalian Hall in Wilmington, North Carolina; Tango Master class at the University of Salisbury in Maryland; Presentation at Rappahannock Foundation for the Arts, Kilmarnock Virginia.
Pablo enjoys teaching both private lessons and group classes to all levels from beginners to advanced students, as well as Show Choreography for professional Tango performers. He teaches all styles of Argentine Tango: Tango Salon, Close Embrace, Open Embrace, Social, Nuevo Tango and Performance Tango. He is known for his utmost concentration on the importance of Posture, balance and technique for both Leaders & Followers. Pablo has taught his 'tango foundation' to several students who later gained international recognition.
In 2002, Pablo moved to Miami, Florida where he now has a very active schedule teaching and performing Argentine Tango in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale area, the West Coast of Florida in Naples, Ft. Myers and Sarasota - in addition to traveling throughout the USA and abroad doing workshops and performances.
For four years, Pablo taught at Florida 's most popular milonga, "The International Club of Argentine Tango" also he taught group classes weekly in Aventura and at Miami Dade Community College Kendall Campus. Now, along with his wife and tango partner, Alicia, they teach at the three most popular milongas on the east coast every Friday, Saturday and Sunday - in addition to group classes at The University Center for the Performing Arts. Pablo has performed at milongas, private events, public shows, hotel functions, corporate events and universities.

In May 2008, Pablo and Alicia performed at the famous Miami Tango Fantasy Congress in addition to teaching workshops daily during the event. Other performances include: The Tropigala Theater: Florida Grand Opera Miami fundraising event, "A Toast to You"; Quintango and Ars Flores Symphonic Orchestra; La Playa Hotel in Naples: Motorola Corporation's Hispanic Festival; Tango Fantasy Congress 2005, The University Center for the Performing Arts and The Argentinean Embassy in Washington, D.C. In addition to teaching and performing, Pablo was one of the organizers of the "Miami Tangothon", a tango marathon for Florida dancers. He was Publisher and Editor of "El Milonguero Tango Magazine" the first Argentine tango magazine in Florida .
Pablo and Alicia personally introduce their students to the birthplace of Tango organizing exciting & fun-filled tours to Buenos Aires each year. They just completed their 2008 student tour. (For information and photos See "Trip to BS.AS.")
