Alicia and I want to Thank each and everyone of you for coming to our 6th Anniversary & Valentine’s Milonga on Saturday February 13th 2016!
It was a great and very special celebration! Our special thanks to Chef Alain for an outstanding meal and our wonderful musicians Miguel and Anibal that kept us dancing all night!
We can’t believe that it is six years since we started building this wonderful Tango Community and most importantly made lasting and meaningful friendships. We consider all of you our family!
We want to thank both Robert and Chuck for saying a few words which were really appreciated. Uma played a tribute song for our departed friends, Ginny and Penny. We miss them!

Show “Estaciones de Tango” at the Sudgen Community theater on 5th Ave South April 1st 2014 was a huge success!!!
Thank you all for a magnificent night! We had a full house at the Sudgen Community Theater on 5th Avenue with around 300 people!! Beginning with the champagne reception to the outstanding work by the musicians, singer and dancers on stage finishing with an standing ovation!! Thank you all for coming and a special thanks for all the hard work to all the sponsors and all the committee of the ArtsNaples World Festival!! What a night!!

Our National Tango Day Celebration and Dee’s Birthday, it was such a marvelous night with lots of talent and fun and a full house!! The master Osvaldo Barrios kept us in our feet with his beautiful bandoneon’s music, the singers Atilio & Christy and the special treat of Nadia singing opera were great! Thank you all so much for coming to celebrate with us my 20 year with the Tango! We had a full house, with many visitors from everywhere, specially a big group from MIAMI!! Everyone was delighted to dance to the wonderful live music of David Alsina Quartet”. The Floor like always was filled by the wonderful energy people bring!! I want to give a BIG THANK YOU to all the people whoe helped organize this wonderful party! A commemorative plaque was presented to me and a beautiful letter from the Argentinean Embassy in Washington DC. I want to give special thanks to my wife Alicia for her toching words, and making the slide of pictures of my career. It was very nice to share this with everyone! We toasted with Champagne and a beautiful cake! Thank you all so much for coming to celebrate with us this important milestone of my career!

Repun Tango Naples Milonga was a huge success with a full house, live music with “Miguel Arrabal trio” and the funny and emotional words of Ginny conmemorating our Milonga’s 3 Year Anniversary! The floor was filled by the wonderful energy people always bring and they all looked beautiful in red and black!! Also, we had our 1st book club where we talked about “Long after Midnight at the Ninio Bien” which was so fun and interesting! Following the book club we showed a very informative documentary about Argentinean tango music and history “Tangos Among Friends”. We all enjoyed it very much! We wanted to share with you these two wonderful commemorative and funny articles that our friend Ginny wrote:

The Milonga on February 2nd 2013 was such a huge success!!
Thank you all for coming to our Repun Tango Naples Milonga! Our Beginner’s class was filled with many newcomers eager to learn and have lots of fun! The social dance was full of energy and everyone enjoyed and danced to the wonderful music by Scott. We also celebrated all of the birthdays from the month of February and Sylvia was surprised by James who came to play happy birthday on his violin specially for her! Again, a marvelous night! There is a new tango social dance that we call “Milonga” that was opened February 2010 for you to come and learn, dance and meet new tango friends. We had this monthly milonga on the second Saturday of the month with great attendance, beautiful music and upbeat energy. People came to enjoy themselves from different cities like Miami, Ft Myers, Bonita Springs and Sarasota among others. Repun Tango Milonga will be closed during the summer but it will reopen on the second Saturday in October. So save the date, be ready, polish your shoes and join us for a wonderful evening of Argentine Tango dancing among friends!!! The reopening of Repun Tango Naples Milonga is a huge success!
We will like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who came to dance at Repun Tango Naples Milonga on Saturday December 11th! It was awesome, to say the least! The Naples community is growing and growing! We had a full house! Everyone was there and we all had a blast! People came from Cape Coral, Ft Myers, Sarasota & Miami, among other cities. Again, the ambiance was beautiful thanks to Selma, Sydney and Radford that decorated the place beautifully with lights, tango paintings, fresh flowers, candles, and yummy snacks!! A special thanks to Nordic and Dee that bought the fabric and custom made the beautiful red table cloths! We celebrated our dearest tanguera Dee’s 85th birthday with a huge cake brought by Selma! Everyone enjoyed the live music that made the night a complete success! Thank you again for making this possible for all of us to enjoy! The world watched and was mesmerized by the sophisticated and sensual performances of the passionate dancers of Argentine Tango. Well, Naples can boast a bit of Buenos Aires Tango too! We are fortunate to have Argentinean Master, Pablo Repun, teaching this extraordinary dance for the past 5 years in Naples. Pablo Repun was born and raised in Buenos Aires where he studied with ‘The Masters’ of Argentine Tango. Pablo teaches beginners to advanced students, as well as professionals all styles of Argentine Tango: Tango Salon, Close Embrace, Open Embrace, Nuevo Tango and Performance Choreography. Since moving to Florida from Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2002, Pablo regularly teaches Argentine Tango in the Miami area, Naples, Ft. Myers and Sarasota in addition to his travels around the USA & abroad.
